It's not the fuel sender that makes the noise-it's the pressure regulator 
(fuel injection systems need a lot more pressure than carbureted ones). Most 
of them just squawk for a few seconds after the ignition key is turned-this 
is normal("They all do that, sir"). If a really loud noise persists after you 
ride off, that is audible over the engine noise, and through your ear plugs, 
Triumph should replace it under warranty.Dave Collins, San Diego
