[ST] Fuel Octane - Again!

This afternoon I picked-up my 2002 ST/RS factory service manual.  In it 
it states that in the U.S., using the (R+M)/2 method the minimum octane 
rating it 89.  I'm gonna go save myself 10 cents/gallon!  :-)

Maybe this will clear up that question.

The service manual also contradicts the dealer on the correct way to 
check the oil level.  You're supposed to screw it all the way in 
("home") with the bike level.  Since my bike came with an '01 owner's 
manual, I needed to know that.
