[ST] Suspension

John:
You can buy your Ohlins rear shocks from Wim Kroon's in Holland via internet. They will cost about $840 delivered. That's a BIG discount for the very best in rear suspension!
Check the setting of your rear shock. It should be set at number 6 when it leaves the factory. (Unfortunately, it does not always do so.) This is the middle setting. 1 is softest, 12 is hardest. There is an adjustment screw that clicks every HALF turn. Two clicks equal ONE TURN. (Also, Read your Owner's Manual, all of this info is in there!)
I ride at number 8 since I weigh 183 and have panniers. Make small adjustments and note your changes. You can greatly improve your ride by setting your suspension to suit your weight and riding style.
All the best,
