Don't know of any advantage myself, but one con on the endless chain is
that installation will require swing arm removal.  

I replaced the OEM Regina with a DiD 530-ZVM and with almost 10k on it
it's holding up nicely.  Used the new DiD tool to install the master link
(rivet type) and it pretty much negated the old need to stop and measure
the mushrooming of the head - you just crank this one till it stops and
you get a perfect "factory" looking rivet.
