i had the same symptom - slight smell of gas, gas mileage off. i thought
my fitting was leaking, too - but the dealer dug in and found the fuel
sender was the flaw.

BTW - i had the dealer order some EZFlows for while he was in there; they
were delayed waiting for a new shipment [apparently the source has become
'offshore']. they are reportedly now in stock.
