[ST] Triumph Soft Luggage / luggage on rear rack

Hello, has anyone tried the Triumph soft luggage? I had the hard bags on my
99 ST, but can't justify ~$1k for just 2 hard bags on my next one. Even the
Triumph soft luggage seems a bit spendy to me. I am more inclined to get the
top rack and strap an RKA or similar to it.
Any constructive input appreciated.
