RE: [ST] Oil leak (was Introduction (was Bringing Bikes to Japan))



neutral switch. fixed it with lots of sealent which i still haven't decided
if i like.

May have to remove the sealent and get them to fix it properly so i dont
have the prob should i need to replace it for some reason in the future.

Mine did (new '03 ST).  It took 4 tries before they identified the source (a
gasket sealing the front sprocket).  To their credit, they seem to have
gotten it right, and they stressed that no amount of oil leaking is
acceptable.  They seem to want to squash the old "traditions"...

Matt, glad to hear they got yours resolved.  What was the source?
