I had to replace the ignition switch when the wire that leads to the 
rear running lights broke inside the switch body.  Apparently the 
clearance around the switch is pretty small, so its a pain to get at 
those soft screws.  And, since they're soft, you usually have to drill 
them out.  I went ahead and had the dealer do it.  I think he only 
charged me an hour's worth of labor, and I know it saved me some 
frustration.
