   Keep an eye on Craigslist at http://www.craigslist.org just in case
the bozo tries to off it locally. I live in the San Jose area and will
keep an eye out for it. What kind of tires did it have on it? Did it
have a stock seat or any other distinguishing marks?

Ouch! Someone stole my 2001 BRG Sprint from right in front of my house
in
San Francisco on Tuesday night, December 16th.  It has a CF pipe and
it's
the only Sprint I've seen in the Bay Area with headlight modulators.
I'd
appreciate an offline email at supecoop@xxxxxxxxxxx of any sightings.
Don't
shoot the rider however, as that might damage the bike.  I feel like
S**T.
My riding friends have been really supportive though and I'm riding a
friend's VFR until I get this sorted out.  Other than reporting this to
the
police I can't think of anything else to do except to alert SprintNet.
