Heya Dave, I've always noted these rear brake reports with a little
interest, as I've never felt that I had this problem on my '99. I think I
am on my 3rd set of rear pads (always OEM) and at around 34k on the clock
I find that a little unusual, but then I bought the bike used and put the
second set on myself. But I've always been able to lock up the rear at
will.

I've always meant to look at rear pedal positions on other ST's when
spotted but always seem to forget to do that!
