RE: [ST] Brrrr!

Paul,

I ride through thick fog, cold and sometimes heavy
rain each morning to school. Its about 25 miles ea.
way and usually under 34 when I leave. The fog gets
thick in places on hwy 2 btwn Monroe and Everett. I
tried rainX, it works for a little while. I suggest
the anti-fog inlay you can get for inside of visor.
They are about $15 and may cause a little starburst
effect at night when you look into lights, but far
better than the fog. Until I got that I was breathing
carefuly and it sucked.

For fog and mist on the outside of visor, I wipe it
w/glove every few mins or turn my head to each side
and let the wind carry it away. If there is something
better than rainX I would like to know about it.

I rode to school many many times in freezing weather
w/o heated grips or heated gloves, DAMN nuff of that
krap if it takes 20 min to get feeling back into my
fingers. I got the heated gerbing gloves w/the
temptroller and I have absolutly NO need for heated
grips. Go w/the heated gloves. If you dont want to
order them and wait, go to Eagle Leather in Tacoma,
they carry all that stuff. Thats where mine came from.

My friends think Im crazy for riding in this sort of
shitty weather. They leave their bikes home at the
first sign of frosty windsheilds or rain.

I hope this is helpful to you Paul, or anyone else
getting to commute in the adverse conditions.
