[ST] Racetech front only owner

Hello Bil and everyone:
I'm a guy who has upgraded to Racetech springs and emulators and has NOT changed my rear shock from stock. In my case there is little need.
I do not know what the heck you or "Big Jim" are talking about WRT doing both the front and rear concurrently. The change Racetech makes on the steering and handling of the ST is nothing but impressive and positive over the stock set-up..
The stock rear shock is not a bad unit, just an average one. IMHO changing the rear affects the overall handling about 15-20% compared to doing a Racetech change which is an 80% improvement. I would recommend checking the settings of the rear shock for preload and damping. Many ST's come straight from the factory with very soft settings that do not suit the heavyweight & normal riders out there in "cycleland". It is very important to check/test and ride the bike for optimum handling.
Ride safely,
