Re: [ST] Tom and his FJR vs. Your Sprint

Well Rik, if you really are serious with that statement, all I can say is,
it's the silliest point of view I've actually heard expressed in a while.
Japcrap??? I haven't heard that term used in twenty years. I've ridden
Triumphs (3) Harleys (2)for 16 years, and about 6 or 7 "JapCrap" machines
(including an H-1) over the last 30 years.

One thing I know for sure is "real" motorcyclists don't give a shit what
"brand" you ride, just THAT you ride. But "bikers" (re: poseurs) are totally
caught up in "us" vs. "them". Get a life.

I cannot believe you guys from over the pond.
Here in England there are two types of motorcyclists, ones who ride bikes
(bikers), the others ride JapScrap.
I have an FXDWG for summer use and a Sprint ST for a winter hack. Only at
the weekends, if they are warm, do the power-rangers venture out to show off
their matching leathers and latest toys.
If someone thinks his latest "Honzuki" is the best thing, let him waste his
time, then simply take the piss. He'll soon realise the error of his ways.
