Thanks to Ira & David for their input on my heated gear
conundrum.  I just took a look at the  Widder's original loom.
Sure enough, they're series-wired.  So now I know the why.  I've
emailed Gerbings for their suggestions on how to correct the
situation.  I'll report back.
