Good ideas, currently I have a loaner, brand new '03 model. It 
has a really simple feature that I think is brilliant, and I 
think I am going to try to build a module for my bikes to 
emulate it.

When you turn on a signal, even for just one quick touch, it 
will cycle the lights 3 times. I know on my street bikes I often 
am pretty quick at my lane change signals. This would ensure 
that at least three blinks get out. Anyway, if I succeed I will 
let you guys know what I did.
