Re: [ST] Tunes on the road

I'm using an Archos MP3 player- 20 gigs of storage, a little larger
than a pack of cigs, decent battery life, about 6 hours. I've got
1800 songs on it now, and have used about 20% of its' storage
capability. This unit ships with a wired remote, necessary
software, recharger, USB interface, a soft case, and a modest set of
headphones. They also offer a "car kit", which provides a cassette adapter,
cig lighter power, etc. I've also switched over to the Etymotic ER 6
isolators-
sound quality is excellent, and since they are in the ear, the
really do isolate as well as good earplugs. The Archos is about
225.00, the headphones are 137.00. The iPod IS the best, lighter and
smaller, but it's at least
100.00 more expensive than the Archos. Whatever you do, go for BIG
storage, 10 gigs minimum. A small capacity player will quickly bore you.
