Also, the '02 airbox is larger, making the tank a 1/2 gallon smaller. The
'01 has a hazard flasher switch, which was deleted in the '02. The larger
airbox muffles the characteristic triple honk a bit, not that I can really
tell with earplugs in. The differences are small, but given similar
condition and miles, I'd take the '01 by the narrowest of margins.

Some '02's were affected by a recall for rear wheel bearings. I think the
'01 fixed some clutch cable problems present in earlier models. The
under-tank fuel line fittings are fragile in all models.
