RE: [ST] Feels like a new bike, continued

An excellent idea. In my Goldwinging days I belonged to GWRRA. They
publish an annual directory of members who are willing and able to do just
that - help out a fellow winger on the road. Maybe that could be a new
addition to RAT to help members and membership?

Mike,
Sounds like a great idea to me. I do most of my own work and have some of
the special tools and would be willing to help anyone who needs it. When I
was into street rodding we had a thing called the fellow pages which was a
listing of people all over the USA that would be willing to help a fellow
street rodder if he broke down far from home, I helped a guy from Denver put
a complete lower end in his 30 Chevy when he broke down in San Jose about 20
years ago. Picked him up off the freeway with my buddies trailer and rebuilt
his car in my garage. Good way to meet nice people. I live in the SF bay
area by the way.
