John, before you start with the new switch, brake flush check the ADJUSTMENT
of the switch. I had the same problem a couple of years back and it was
simply a matter of adjusting the switch back into contact with the brake
pedal lever. Can't remember the exact procedure but when looking at it, it
was intuitive IIRK.
