Re: [ST] TSRA 2003 Eastern Rallye?

Just a reminder for everyone as to how rallye locations are selected:
There *must* be a person local to the rallye location who will
volunteer as the Rallye Coordinator (RC). This person is responsible
for:

	* selecting the routes, mapping them, and riding them before the
rallye,
	* finding a hotel with the necessary amenities,
	* identifying local dealers and arranging for their support,
	* finding a local caterer and arranging for the group dinner.

The RC must complete a pre-screen form for the location they would like
to hold the rallye at. Once all the pre-screens are submitted, a ballot
will be sent via USPS to all TSRA members (usually as part of the
quarterly newsletter, but with short lead times (like now) we may send
it out by itself). Members rank-order the candidate rallye locations,
and the location with the highest overall ranking wins.

(The TSRA Board of Directors (BoD) handles the voting, arranges for
sanctioning and insurance coverage through the AMA, and it also will
create a run of t-shirts if there are enough attendees.)

If you wish to be an RC, please email me for the pre-screen form.
Thanks!
