[ST] Cliff Notes, Ride report........

We still do these around here, right? Talk about actually riding our bikes.

Last Saturday I hooked up with Brian D. (VFR 750) for a quick 550 mile run
up to North Central Arkansas (Bull Shoals Lake). We were to meet up with
other riding friends that live in the area, and some others from Memphis and
Atlanta. The goal was to congregate at a friends home back in the sticks
that just happens to have one big-ass T.V. and watch the Daytona 200, en
masse. Good plan, ehhh?

The ride up was a blast. We headed out of Dallas on the slab, for just the
minimum distance, into OK. and onto hwy 43. 43 is a nice little traveled
road that goes from nowhere to less than nowhere....my kinda road. It's
scenic but not really technical, that would come later. 43 skirts Sardis
Lake then merges with OK hwy 2, things start to get interesting from there.
Yes, Virginia, there are mountains in Oklahoma.
