Just my 2 cents on the fairing touching down, mine has twice, on the right
side on that 'header bubble.' This is in a right hander hitting a HARD
bump. I weigh 220lbs and I think this is a bit taxing on the front
suspension. However, I have since raceteched the front end (this is the
best $300 I've spent, and it takes alot for me to spend that kind of money
without really knowing the benefit) and I haven't had the problem since (I
used to bottom the fronts easily). I run full preload at the rear also.
IMHO it really ought to be done to the bike from the factory - but the nice
thing about doing it yourself is you can choose the spring rate.
