I forgot about those, I have a couple of pairs I've tried in the past, and
while they keep you dry for a while for the most part, sometimes they leak
a little, but the big thing was how tiring they were on the
hands.  Something about the way they are shaped and the position we need
to be in?  Also be advised they offer nothing in the way of abrasion
resistance.
