A photo was taken every 10 degrees of rotation. The cool thing was 
the base that the model comes on was perfect for the project. I found 
that the indentation on the bottom of the base was the perfect size 
to screw onto the standard tripod screw which I mounted onto my VR 
tripod head. Another lucky plus was that screw for the base rotates 
the model exactly on its central axis. I used Photoshop to erase the 
background and the support, then used Apple's Quicktime VR Authoring 
program to assemble the 36 images into the completed VR.
