I saw the same thing when I looked at my '99, so I'm using one of Handy
Industries Universal Front Stands that they sell with a universal rear
pretty cheap. It works well, has "pins" that go into the holes at the
bottom of your forks (you remove the plastic caps first). I also added
one of their single sided swing arm rear stands.
I'm sure Pit Bull must have a similar product. Pit Bull seems beefier but
I've not had any problems with the Handy stands at all.
