[ST] RE: ST electrical options

Nav Dawg,

Excellent info! I'll give this stuff a look. Thanks!

The test drive went flawlessly (my MSF instructor would have been proud),
and was very enjoyable - I'm sold. After I signed the papers, I did a 2
hour ride around Atlanta, got completely lost, and couldn't have cared less.
It was overcast and drizzling, traffic was heavy at spots, ran across a
surprising number of red lights, and had a blast! I pulled 2 U-turns at
different spots, and felt completely comfortable with the weight and power.
What an incredible machine...

My main complaint at this point is with the clutch lever. My forearm is
aching from having to reach so far to grab it, especially with the bouts of
stop-and-go I worked through. The dealer said they have a dog-leg lever
that will shorten the reach substantially; hope this works.

I also have the hard bags and extended screen on order (among other things),
can't wait to get everything together and take her out for so serious rides
next week!

Now if I just get this idiot grin off my face... :)

  - Dave
