[ST] Progressive Insurance

I just got a new policy with Progressive. They gave me a decent quote on 
three bikes, a Sprint RS, a Honda 929 and a GB500. But, about two weeks 
went by, then I got a note saying the serial numbers didn't match up, so 
I called them and got the number straightened out. They had put the last 
number of the serial number at the beginning. When I gave them the right 
number, all of a sudden they wanted $400 more than the original quote, 
at about 70% increase. Have any of you had this happen by them? Almost 
looks like a scam to me. Suck you in with a lowball quote, then nail you 
after the fact! I dropped them a few years ago because of a similar 
situation, except they were more honest about it. They told me they 
reclassified my old Speed Triple as a sport bike and my policy would be 
going up $250. I had had it about 4 years with no claims against it 
before they pulled that. Anybody want to buy a good 929? I can't afford 
to keep it at this rate!
