Re: [ST] Shock suggestion

Hi Steve

Hagon are a UK company. In the 80s they used to
specialise in aftermarket twin shocks for old Brit
bikes, for both road and sports use. Their
reputation was very good in those days. Mind you,
anything was better than the original shocks on many
bikes! These days we don't hear so much about them,
and I don't know anyone who's fitted one of their
monoshocks.

They do however do an L (25-30mm lower) type monoshock
which shortarses might find of interest:

Alf Hagon was a motorcycle god in the 50s and 60s by
the way. Grasstrack, speedway, drag bikes - he
excelled at them all. In 67 he was the first Brit to
get into the 10s. He was the first Brit to top 200.
Even in later life, when he focussed on engineering
specials, building frames etc, he used to come out of
'retirement' occasionally and lay down a mid-10 on the
strip!
