Another option is to use heated grips, a thin-palmed glove, and
some lightweight handle paws that you can get from any ATV or
snowmobile dealer. They go on and off in seconds and act as a
windblock. With the above setup, I would be comfortable riding in
below 0c temps. I presently can ride comfortably at 0c without
heated grips.
My present cold weather gloves are Joe Rocket Hard Drive with
waterproof membrane.
