[ST] RE:CBR1000RR

Well Honda definitely is into their technology, even when it seems 
detrimental, ie: "Why do we have VTEC on the new VFR? Because we can."

Maybe such a complex damper is useful on a racebike. I'm sure I'm not 
good enough of a rider to ever find out.

I would be more interested in:

How much extra does it weigh?

How much extra does it cost?

How many extra parts are there to fail? (that most likely won't be stocked)

What is the failure mode if it does fail?

How much extra maintenance is required?

Personally, I prefer the cleaner look of a nice machined headstock, 
not something that makes the bike look like it has an airbag stuck 
there.
