RE: [ST] Rocket 3



We saw this the first time in November last year at the bike show, NEC,
Birmingham, England.
It does seam a long time coming.
Although, by telling the public that it is on the way people will hold off
on buying a new bike for a few months.

I am seriously thinking about chopping one of mine in for a Rocket III.

I have to agree that this doesn't appear to be a very effective marketing
strategy: "Hey guys, we've got this AWESOME bike available...err...9 months
from now."

People just don't have the attention span. I think it would have served them
better to keep a lid on it until a few months before the actual release. The
heightened anticipation of not exactly knowing could have helped them, I
would think.

But then, I'm not in marketing...
