You would think if he were to ditch his responsibilities as sweep, he would
at least only pass those two.  That sounds like a road-rage scenario where
he snapped and went by all (what 11?) bikes.

As for who asked about the sweeper - he's supposed to stay at the back in
case anyone gets into trouble.  Sometimes the sweeper has some form of
communication with someone up front.  Also, the sweeper is sort of a
"marker" in that if the leader looks back and sees the sweeper (and sweeper
is not signally to hold up), that means that everyone is there and the
leader can continue.  That way the leader doesn't have to count or guess who
may be held up.

He told me that two riders in our group were going too slow and he got
frustrated staying behind them.  One was a new Bonnie rider and the other
was a Tiger that had taken water in the air box eariler in the day as we
crossed seven creeks.  Go figure... the ST's RS's and Bonnies crossed
without a problem but the 2002 Tiger sucked water!
