You are not wrong, Matt.....apart from the low financial penalty, (In
Victoria, it would be worth about $200 and 3 demerit points off your
licence, I think) the issuing policeman has made a somewhat grave error
- - according to him, the offence occurred when the rider was just one day
old! Way back in 1974!

Yes, I wish my speeding fines were like that one...
