[ST] question from newbie on '03 'new' pricing

hi all,

i'm a new lurker, and strongly considering the '03 sprint st...

i'm not sure on pricing, and i DID look for a serachable archive and FAQ, but found
none...

can someone point me to an old conversaion on pricing...

or, would some one venture a swag (scientific wild assed guess) on wether 8999 plus 400
setup is reasonable for a 'new' 03?

my other bike of choice is an 05 yammi fjr1300...  but, even at 1500 off list plus
traveling to pick it up,  still a steep entrance price...

any replies on or off list are appreciated....
