I don't have the touring bag, but my Triumph bag mounts as follows:

Front straps (2) go between frame and gas tank.  The go down and back around
to themselves, respectively, and sort of auto adjust to where the tension
has them sit.

Rear straps (2) go into two little brackets that came with the bag.  Each
bracket goes under the two screw that hold the gas tank on (plainly visible
when the seat is pulled off - they use the allen wrenches).  So each strap
just runs through the bracket on its side.

Got out the touring tank bag for my '03 last night and besides only giving
me one strap bracket for underneath the gas tank bolts, the instructions
don't say or show where the front straps go.  Looks like the bodywork has to
come off to do a decent job...

What is the best way to route the front tank bag straps?
