RE: [ST] Fuel level sensor LEAK

Q. Can the leak be fixed?---No

If not I guess I have to buy a new sensor.---Yes
Is the gasket around the sensor reusable?---No

Been there, done that, last year on my RS. Replace the sensor and gasket. The leak generally comes down the wires because the seal material got eaten by the petrol. The leak cannot be patched, to my knowledge.

Is the gasket around the main fuel connection plate (with all the hoses) reusable?---Also, maybe not, I don't know.

My '00 Sprint ST has a fuel leak coming from the fuel level sensor. I recall some comments on this problem and want a quick refreash.
