RE: [ST] Aluminium radiator repair



I also looked into getting a second hand radiator, but I didn't want the
risk of getting a bad radiator, so I bit the bullet and got a new one.

I understand the problem is some sort of stress based cracking around
the radiator `core' - Maybe someone with a better description will let
us know.

When I removed my radiator and cleaned it up I had a good look at it and
I could not see any obvious holes or cracks.  I would think that the
only way to be sure that a second hand radiator is any good is to have
it pressure tested as a visual inspection may not revel any possible
problems.
