RE: [ST] Hwy 296 in Wyoming

296 in Wyoming is a complete and utter blast! Rode it a couple of years
ago during a road trip. It's remote (read: little interference from
annoying cagers) and possesses awesome scenery. The only drawback is it
somehow causes the edges of the tire tread to wear much faster than the
center. :-^

I will always make it a point of riding that one when I'm in the area.

Subject: [ST] Hwy 296 in Wyoming

Does anyone out there know the condition of hwy 296 in Wyoming? This is
the road that connects 212, just west of Beartooth Pass, with 120,
heading Southeast towards Cody. On street & trips, it looks like a good
road, and we are heading out on a week long trip to Wyoming in a couple
weeks. Any input is appreciated.

Ride safe,
