[ST] laptop and commuting

Bike is a 03 Sprint ST with panniers - I have the top box, but it is in
pieces while it gets painted to match - not a solution to the dilemma below
as I only like to use it when going on a long ride 2 up.

I have a fairly long commute (over 60 miles one way) and I have a laptop
that I take back and forth with me as I also telecommute two days a week.

I am looking for a bag for the laptop that I can easily attach and detach
from either the luggage rack or the pillion seat of the bike that will hold
my laptop/briefcase contents.

Right now I put my soft briefcase in one of the panniers, but it is a tricky
fit and requires a bit of fiddling around getting it in just right and chews
up too much time.

I have done some searching around and haven't found much.  There is one bag
from Tourmaster called the Cortech Sport Tailbag that looks like it might be
a possible solution, but I can't find one to actually look at.  From the
pictures (tourmaster.com)- I can't tell if I would be able to get the laptop
in the top opening even thought the bag might be large enough.

So - my questions are:

Anyone commuting with a laptop on a regular basis out there that has found a
decent solution to this?

Anyone have a Cortech Sport Tailbag and has used it for a laptop?

Other bag suggestions?  Other solutions?
