The devil in me screams one of the following options:
- - Duct tape the girlfriend.
- - Dump the girlfriend - the economics might work out better.
- - Get the girlfriend her own bike, or get her trained, then you can take 
both bikes on the trip and swap when riding the YZF becomes too uncomfortable.
