Re: [ST] for Peter - GIVI hard bags



I don't agree with more waterproof - I've owned and put many wet miles on 
both - the only time either of them leaked was when I would get something 
caught in gasket when closing the cases (true operator error).

The old GIVIs were as Andy eluded to - butt ugly, but I must admit, I never 
worried about banging them into a doorway etc when they were off the 
bike....

The "new" triumph bags were not GIVIs bit some other manufacturer (I believe 
starts with the letter A) and were used until Triumph was able to produce 
them on their own.
