[ST] Re: st-digest V2004 #460 - Freeway Tires

I'd have to agree that AV45/46 combo is a very good all around tire. My RS
came with 020's stock and I ran a couple of set's of them before AV45/46's
were available. My last set of 45/46's ran ~13k miles before I replaced
them. There was still some tread left in the center and a bunch left on the
sides (Indiana freeways you know). As regards traction and feel, personally
I couldn't tell much difference between them and 020's. Of course I'm
running an RS with soft bags so probably don't load the bike as heavily as
some, but on a 10 day (5 in heavy rain), 5K mile trip to Nova Scotia with
equipment for two weeks they did fine.
