G'day again from OZ,

Just spent 2 hrs detailing the bike - jezz the red ones look great :)

I had to clean off a lot of chain lube grunge from around the front
sprocket area, even took off the f/sprocket cover and cleaned in there.
Anyone using a brand that does not make such a mess - I use Mogul -
recomended ? 

Also, anyone come up with a better idea for the black oil dipstick ?
Not the easiest thing to read!!

And - I have noticed a slight metalic rattle when backing off hard in
lower gears, sounds like its coming for motor but haven't really looked
hard - bike has dome 30,000 klm ( 18,000 miles ) and has regular oil
change and service ??
