Perhaps because I've never had the pleasure, I can't see why anyone 
would buy new.  I find the used-bike park at most dealers perplexing - 
nicely run-in (or in some cases hardly used) bikes presumably that have 
been traded in for new ones.  I can't see the point of getting 
something like an ST and then not even riding it far enough to adjust 
the chain and then selling it (at a big loss...).  Bikes are for riding 
not looking at...
