Re: [ST] Re: st-digest V2004 #677

I knew Tony since 1969. We served in Vietnam together and he was a highly
skilled Vietnamese linguist. He was also a Black Belt in Okinawan style
karate. Tony and I rode together to New England, all throughout the Blue
Ridge Mountains, and to Arkansas as well.

There were four of us who became close in the Air Force. I remember seeing
Tony with tears in his eyes as we attended the funeral for the first of the
four of us to die. (Gary was horribly burned while working in a Conoco
refinery.) Emmet barely survived cancer three years. And now Tony is gone
in an instant.

To my motorcycling brethren......love each day, each ride, each friend like
you might not get another.

Godspeed Tony,

Lou
