[ST] Failing grips mystery

I've had heated grips for almost 4 years now with never a problem. 
But a few weeks ago they started to lose the capacity to get warm.

I know they're getting power because when I turn them on they're
getting some juice as I can feel them warm a little bit, but nothing I
can feel through gloves anymore.

Any thoughts?
