Unfortunately I don't have the heated grips installed so I don't know
exactly where the relay is mounted.  The shop manual is no help in this
regard.  I'm guessing that it is located somewhere under the nose
fairing.

I'm hoping someone else will volunteer this info.

Once you've located the relay, you may find that all you need to do is
to re-seat the relay in it's connector.  And yes, replacing the relay is
a piece of cake for a non-wrench.  Maybe your local shop has one that
you could borrow for a quick test.

I'm not sure what Triumph wants for this relay, but I'd be surprised if
there wasn't an off-the-shelf replacement that will work (and will be
much cheaper than OEM).
