[ST] Low Side

Yes, I'd have to agree with 1 & 4. I almost made my first low side. As the
bike is going down the foot goes too. It's that inate sense for survival.
And yes, the leg gods are more powerful than the m/c gods. In my case, MUCH
more powerful.
Because, when my right foot hit the ground it did so with such force that
the m/c snapped back up to attention. Granted there were other dynamics at
work, like I think off'd the throttle and engaged the clutch. It happened
so fast, it's hard to remember every detail (plus it was two years ago). I
avoided that low side by the rubber on my sole.

Question: Should one just go with the flow of a low side or is it
fightable/recoverable without incident? When I watch dirt track racing
those guyz are riding the hairy edge of a low side all the time, which makes
me thinks that if one can react fast enough it can be recovered.

Although I think, depending on speed, you could run the risk of a high side
instead. Maybe? I don't know. Any thought's on that?

Could saving a low side possible turn around to become a high side?

1) As the bike is going down there is a tendency to put down your foot.
The foot hits the pavement first and wants to stay put while the bike
continues on its path to/of destruction.

4) The leg gods are more dominant than the motorcycle gods thus forcing
the bike to sacrifice itself for your leg.
