RE: [ST] Cars v Bikes

It is all very well going head to head with a cage round a track, where a bike comes into it's own is when trying to get from one side of town to the other during the rush hour. How good would a Porsche be then?

You know, if I was some motorcyclist, and I was featured in the Video (and my sexuality was being questioned by the commentator), I don't think I'd try that hard. There was the one corner that the Porsche almost lost is he was trying so hard. There was never a case where the motorcyclist seemed out of control or pushing the envelope. A car driver can afford to ride the line much more. Yes, less likely he will break traction, but if he does, it is less likely he will suffer serious injury in doing so. The motorcycle rider has a lot more risk in pushing the envelope.

Don't get me wrong, it is still clear that four wheels is better than two in a straight head-to-head race, but count me with those that say the two wheels is funner than four, even if I finish .75 seconds behind the cage.
