Re: [ST] Questions from a newbie.



It really seems to depend on your bags.  I'm also in Seattle but have never 
had water seep into them at all (and I ride almost every day) though others 
have reported more than "a little" water getting in.

But I definately agree with Trey that the hinges are pretty crappy 
considering the cost of the bags, and I also have to jiggle mine a little to 
close them.

Still, I like the looks of the factory bags more than the Givis, so will 
stick with them, but as always YMMV.
